I bought 1 copy of the F.E.A.R game on xbox 360 from powerplaydirect.com for £13.99. On my bank statment it appears that they charged me 13.99 twice. I ordered only one copy & this is shown in 'my account' along with my other confirmation emails.

I emailed them on the 14th Jan on the below email address saying that they have billed me twice and that I would like to have the money refunded, etc & they still have not got back to me. I emailed them again on the 21st & today I forwarded my last message to the below email address again.

This is my first ever dealings with this company & I only signed up after spotting the deal posted. I might have to think twice before oredering of powerplaydirect again. Anyone got a contact number for them ? or is there another email address I should email ? the one below is from there contact details page.

According to www.scoot.co.uk their address and phone number is:

Powerplaydirect Com Ltd., Guelles Road, St Peter Port, Guernsey, Channel Islands, GY1 1DA

Telephone: 0870-600-6776

If contacting them doesn't work, contact your credit card company, explain the situation and get them to handle it for you.

If you don't get anywhere with the phone number, contact your bank and explain the situation and they'll tell you what they can do. Going through something similar at the mo for £450, taken twice in error, and the bank are dealing with the company direct and telling them it's theft as only 1 transaction was authorised.

Apparantly, can take up to 10 weeks to get it back, but they said they always do get it back, so don't know what they threaten them with but it obviously works
