After woolwich merging with barclays i have lost my debit card and they wont upgrade due to this being subject to status :? so ive been looking at pre paid credit cards to use as i do most of my shopping on the net,

which one would you go for?

Why dont you sign up to Lloyds TSB for a debit card?

Its a Visa

If you go for extreme cred sign up as an affilliate & refer yourself - should net a fiver back of your costs making the card £4.

I take it it's the Connect Electronic Card? (as its the only one without cheque guaruntee). Basically it is a debit card but takes a little longer to authorise than average as it checks the balance available to see if you have sufficient funds prior to letting you make a purchase - often handed out when the holder doesn't have the rating for another card or is too young etc.

yeah i think thats it, so is it an electron type?

will it be visa? cani use it online?

It should be able to be used online but may not be by default as these kind of cards can and are blocked prior to issueing for customer not present transactions - a phone call should sort that if so. V similar to the kids electron yeah (but minus the overall monthly limit etc that the electron has).
