Price Drop TV

Does anybody buy anything from this channel. I have just tuned in by mistake and sat with my mouth open as this garbage was flogged.

I mean the telephone calls are charged at £1.50 and delivery is £7.99 so you can add a tenner to any supposed price drop.

I've tuned in before to watch it for fun. They sell things that need to be SOLD...the music, the sexy guys n' gals, there're talking to YOU, yes YOU! Pure unadulterated brainwashing marketing!

If you watch it with the volume down, it's remarkably innocuous :whistling:

I watch is now and then when I stumble across it accidentally, but wouldn't buy anything as I know most of it is a load of tat.

They sell trash - like rubbish digi cams for like £60 and £8 postage and £1.50 phonecall

I've bought a watch, some shirts and some golf clubs from them or biduptv (same company). The watch and clubs were great but the shirts are of poor quality. Best way to buy is an online bid then you don't have to pay the £1.50. The website has some end of line stuff (online bids only) which tends to go cheaper....but its been about 2 years since I got anything.

If you watch its quite funny as the presenters all use the same phrases (eg "You can't go wrong") - always amazes me that people buy the gemstone globes which are really really BLING. I reckon thats what Jennybubbles bought!!

The gemstones globes are awful - who would want that in their house - also who buys the jewellry as most of its rank and why would you buy something without looking at it first or at least it being from a reputable shop

I hope that channel closes as its stupid and naff

Any electronic item sold on that channel will always be made by an unknown company.
Google it and the only results will come from the price drop/bid up site. I'd avoid.

Actually QVC is nowhere near as bad as the so called auction sites, they do at least have a freephone number, and a 30 day returns policy, you can return stuff that you have used.

I have used them in the past to " test " a camera, then sent it back and bought one elsewhere for less money .;-)

great place to buy stuff, i have made quite alot of money from them, i use to buy there £100 dvd boxsets for like £2 with delivery £10 and sold many on ebay for upto £30 a time, i also bought a georgre formen grill for £20 down from £100, sometimes late at night when not alot of bidders around or early morning you get some great deals.
