Two prisoners have escaped from HMP Pentonville, the Ministry of Justice (MoJ) has said.
The escape was discovered when officers carrying out checks found two pillows made to look like bodies in the prisoners' beds on Monday.
It is understood the inmates, aged 28 and 31, used diamond-tipped cutting equipment to break through cell bars before they scaled the perimeter wall.
Both were on remand, one for attempted murder and the other for burglary.

They need to build more prisonrights right next to flats to house the human rights idiots. As far as I'm concerned you loose your rights once you break the law and are found guilty. Prison has a new meaning, colour tv's, xboxes, meals, drugs, phones and almost anything you want. you are not supposed to come out and don't mind if you go back in, this country is too soft.

Riots in Bedford prison too.

Many inmates have mobile phones inside as seen during the riots. So no doubt these pentonville escapees had mobile phones too. Our prisons are a shambles.

How the hell that wasnt noticed either by sound (if they did it quickly) or sight (if it was done over days & weeks) is beyond me..

Work in a prison for a day and you'd understand.

Don't think modernisation is the way forward. Back to basic meals, crap beds, hard work, one 20 minute phone call a week, luke warm 5 minute maximum showers. Plenty of innocent British people lived like that not so long ago while being shot at and in 40oC heat so the "human rights" arguments can sod off.

Being sent to jail IMO means you should suffer, not have an easy life.
