No not on my face but in my father-in-laws garden! How do we get rid of it? Its made a mess of his rear garden but we have no idea how to catch it! If we catch and drown it, would we get fined like the squirel guy in the news? We've tried the vibro post thing but its doing nothing...I'm sure the mole just laughs at it (and us). Help please!

Be careful, I've seen G-Force and know what can happen when you push a mole too far.

Whatever moles eat + Rat poison?

check your yellow pages, there specialists around or find yourself a moletrap.... kills quickly. Or you can fix a pipe from the exhaust pipe and pump that in... if those fail you can mix weed killer with....

Hi
I had problems for years with moles in my garden - mainly due to the number of ants which they loved. I tried all the usual 'home' remedys, including moth balls, Jeyes fluid and toy windmills but they did nothing. Someone lent me their version of this:

solar mole repeller

It took a couple of weeks but the moles eventually left (apparently the noise\vibration annoys them and they eventually head off to quieter pastures). It was so successful that I bought my own (the same as the link). I have had no trouble since, despite being able to see mole hills close by (I live in a small village with fields all around). Several of my neighbours also have them now on my recommendation.

Trick is to follow the instructions and use it to herd them away from your garden over time.

Goes on about how bad it was when a dog killed a friend's cat then wants to catch a mole and drown it. NICE

Don't worry, I would never kill a cherished family pet so if I catch this mole and it had a collar with an address on, I'd be sure to return it to its owner...if it doesn't maybe I should take it to an animal shelter or put it in my car and drive it 20 miles to release it in the countryside? Thanks for your input!

years ago out in the countryside it was the done thing to use carbide powder pour it down the hole and pour some water on top of the carbide next thin any moles that were there was gassed. as in those days it was allowed i dont know about now. with so many rules etc. as carbide powder was used for miners lamps [not coalminers] just fill the lamp with powder a little water strike the flint and hey presto.
