All the buttons and the cursor on my wii remote worked fine but when for example you wanted to swing the bat in tennis or baseball it wouldnt swing.

I rang nintendo who said it sounds like the motion sensor is jammed and to fix it you point the remote at the tv then turn the remote on its side so the A button is pointing to the left and swing it down sharp and hard 3 times,,at 1st this didnt work so i did the same again but this time hit it into the palm of my left hand(holding remote in my right hand) and is now working perfect

well worth trying this 1st if you have the same problem before ringing them as it took ages for them to answer and then they put you in a queue(also this must be a common fault as he knew straight away how to fix it)

You would be better off taking it back to the shop and getting a replacment, thses sorts of "Fixes" are only ever temporary.

BRILLIANT - worked a treat - just spent over £3 on the phone trying to contact Dixons for a replacement.
