I recently got the new iPhone via mobiles.co.uk. I took out the £45 per month contract for 1200 mins and 500 texts. At the time of taking the contract out, you cant add on Bolt Ons via mobiles.co.uk. As the service of adding unlimited Bolt Ons for just under £8 per month is still advertised on the o2 website, I stupidly assumed I would be able to add this on once I got my phone.
I had discussed this option with an advisor when I was thinking about upgrading my old phone but instead I cancelled and took it out online for the quidco cashback.
So, I have just come off the phone with a very rude man at o2 who told me that the service isnt available anymore. I explained that it is still being advertised on the website. Then he said that I am unable to get the Bolt On because I am now 2 weeks into my contract, but he can add on an extra 1000 texts for... and extra £30 a month! He said it was my own fault for not taking it out at the time, I explained that you dont get that option via mobiles.co.uk, he said I would have to take that up with them.
Is there any way at all of getting around this or am I just humped? Lol.
