was today the first time you tried tracking it online?

just wondering if there mb a problem with the system, give em a ring, try saynoto0870.com for an alternative number to the costly number they give out.

Thanks I tracked it the other day x

Online isn't updated until parcel has been delivered and sometimes not at all. If you ring Royal Mail they can tell you where it is. :)

Sometimes postmen will post tracked mail through the letterbox without getting a signature. Chances are if the buyer haven't complained about it then he's probably received it.

Second class is up to 7 days delivery; not including weekends. Sometimes don't register till day sent out for delivery. From man who works for royal mail.

Registered post only gets updated from 'processing' online after it has been delivered and signed for, plus half the time the package is left on the doorstep without getting a signature.
Give RM a ring and see if they can help you plus it shows the buyer you are being proactive.
Only after 14 days will RM consider it 'lost' and you get up to £41 insurance I think it is, but you need to give evidence of price of the item.

^^^This^^^ as it could be that they have had to sign for it via a card as opposed to electronically. This can result in it showing the 'being proccessed' status forever! For the record (and i'm not saying this will happen!) some buyers are aware that if they sign a card it will not always show as having been delivered online and try the old 'my item hasn't arrived' trick - however, as Syzable has already pointed out all you need to do in any case is phone RM for confirmation either way.

start the claim process

the buyer most likely received it......typical uk paypal/scammer culture

its amazing 8/10 times unless an item is sent recorded it never arrives in the U.K

i had the same problem recently i contacted the proof of delivery team via email they were also unable to trace it so have just filed a claim- if it has been signed for on paper the POD team are able to tell you this, apparently they can also send you proof. Loads of scammers on the bay at the moment but rm are failing at the mo too. I have just received a cheque for a claim i made in november!

start the claim process

you cannot start a claim for 15 days

the buyer most likely received it......typical uk paypal/scammer culture

they never even mentioned ebay or paypal

its amazing 8/10 times unless an item is sent recorded it never arrives in the U.K

that doesn't even warrant a reply tbf.

The amount of people who are in highly paid jobs who sell on ebay too- it's extra income and if they're private sellers then it clears out "junk" from their house!

i mentioned the culture that paypal/eaby has created....you dont hve to be selling or buying there to fall victim to it

Not getting a response from private messages.

Thanks

Can I please confirm it's me who has not recieved the item and I am certainly not scamming the seller!! I paid extra to have it recorded as she was going to send it normal which I wouldn't have done if I wanted to scam. I have good feedback on here and wouldnt do that.
Please get your facts straight.

Becky I've tried PMing you but no reply if you could arrange my refund as discussed that would be great as said before I will help with any claim.
