hi, im looking for some help with this for when i go back to gamestation tomorrow.
i bought some xbox live points from gamestation this afternoon, i took them home and went to redeem them, i put in the code and hit the done button and it went to register them like it normally does, however about 20 secs later i got an error message on screen and my 360 went back to the dash board.
i checked to see if the points had been added however hey hadnt so proceeded to enter the code again but just got the message invalid code please enter a correct code, i tried doing it on the xbox live site but that just came up with code has already been used, i contacted xbox live who insisted the code hadnt been used when they checked it and it was still valid so try again,
anyway 8 phone calls later and after one of them tried to enter the code themself by using my acount and even a manager trying to enter the code got the same message about the code being already being used still ibut still insist the code hasnt been used and said if it doesnt work by the morning either scan the front and back of the card and send and then wait 72 hours for them to contact me to see if they will replace the code or just take it back to game station and ask for a replacement or refund.
ive rang gamestation who said they cant really do anything because it was sealed when i bought it and the problem happened entering the code and because they get them direct from microsoft, that its them who have to sort but they said if i come in the morning they will contact microsoft and see what they have to say.
i kow a long post however im wondering what peoples thoughts are on this and what i should say to gamestation when i go tomorrow? should i insist on a replacement? either way hopefully i can get something sorted.
