You gotta laff at the tories so called "revolutionary" welfare reform.... cap of £50k in benefeits per family

looooooool

loooooooool

pmsl

If you want to reform the welfare system then take the following simple steps....

1- child benefit for one child only
2- every child beyond that you get penalised i.e you lose the child benefit
3- housing benefit restricted to one bedroom flats located in "rough" areas
4- income support- paid in vouchers NOT IN CASH
5- re disability/incapacity benefits- anyone holding a full uk driving license automatically is refused these benefits- fit to drive then your fit to work i.e become a taxi driver as a job
6- maternity wards to be equipped with an office clerk to check relevant documents that the mother can afford the newborn- if it is established that the family will be needing additional government handouts then the child is taken into the care of social services. the child is only returned untill the parent/s can prove they have the finances to care for the child. this system will be self-funded by the £bn saved by paying out additional benefits
7- a cap of £5k in benefits per houshold

THAT! MY FRIENDS, WHAT I WOULD CALL "REVOLUTIONARY"

So my dad, who has just been given his disability badge & £165 a week attendance allowance (cos I go over and do his housework a coupla times a week) and is retired from a life of crawling under floorboards replacing electrical cabling etc, shouldnt be allowed to drive anymore unless he works as a Taxi driver?

he worked from 16 to 50 when he was forced to retire with multi osteoarthritis, vibration white finger and bad hearing (from use of loud power tools in confined spaces), since then he's developed a bad back and diabetes type II.
he's now approaching 66.
so he should come out of retirement and earn money as a taxi driver?

i could quite happily punch you for this ignorance

cap of £5k on benefits - so thousands of families homeless overnight. Yeah that will help.

Disability benefits scrapped if holding a driving license, you do know loads of people on DLA work don't you|?

This must be a contender for most stupid post on here ever.

How can I simply insult people and be ignorant without actually thinking?

For a truely revoluntionary act, I would round up the idiots with these beliefs, seize their property and make them live in the conditions that they have just detailed. Thankfully they won't moan or complain about it cos its a cushy existence....init

Before my dad died he could drive for around 20-30 minutes perfectly ok, then he had to stop for at least 4 or 5 hours. Which taxi firms employ taxi drivers who can do maybe 40minutes a day?
Answer my questions from above too please to show you aren't an idiot. Specifically the one about making thousands of families homeless overnight, how would that help?

You can't reform the welfare system by tackling one aspect of it.

Time to go back to school for you OP.
#23
Op could you list
1. Your age;
2. What you do for a living;
3. Who you would vote for if an election was called tomorrow;

Just interesting to get a look at the background of someone with these views

happy to answer the questions.....

firstly, i have put forward a decent argument and have not insulted anyone. those throwing insults are the exact folk hanging on street corners with a botle of vodka.

but anyway, ....

homeless? £5 k in runned down areas for one bedroom flats far too adequate.

as for only managing to work for a few hrs.... your point is? taxi drivers are self-employed thats the beauty work anytime any day any amount of time

Or we could all just judge (like he has in his OP) and assume he likes to gobble door knobs for fun...(no offence to people who do actually do that and get paid for it, thats different) :)
