from the quidco site:

We are very happy to announce that Prudential Insurance have risen to the top of the car insurance cashback pile by raising their Quidco cashback to £130. Prudential Car Insurance is by far the most popular choice for Quidco members and with the market leading £130 this is great news for the Quidco community.
We’ve had Prudential Insurance on Quidco for almost 8 months now and we’re happy to see them add to their already immensely popular cashback with a big £130 cashback!
Also take a look at their Home Insurance which has risen to £85 cashback.

looks like £130 per policy, comms on site seem to suggest poor success rates at tracking??

When I took myhouse insurance policy out with Prudential in November the cashback amount was £75, I got my money last month. This was half the amount of my policy so well pleased.

We did the car insurance thing with Pru and the £100 is tracking.

However - could we use this again to get Home insurance as well????

Upmyloft - if you look at the main Quidco / Insurance thread, you will find people that are actually getting paid to take out the insurance cause the premium is less than the cash back lol!!!!

Can confirm that this amount is per policy.I have done this myself and received the full amount of quidco cashback, but did have to put in an enquiry as it did not track.Received my money after about 3 months.HTH.:)

Yes,you can get it for any amount of new policies.
Good tip:If you have combined Buildings and Contents Home insurance, split them up and get quotes for each and pocket the cashback twice.

Try Churchill for buildings.I already had my cover with them.Got the renewal @£197 for £250000 cover including accidental damage,no excess, protected no claims.
Went through Quidco, came out at £103 for exact same cover,SAME INSURER (Churchill) and £60 cashback as well.Showing as tracked within about an hour,so my cost for the coming year is £43.

It's £130 straight. Took them up for my wifes car. Still in shock :giggle:
Just remember, clear all cookies and temp files and then do the transaction in one hit to give a top chance in tracking within 1 hour.

I'm with Homebase for contents, been with them for about 3 years now.The renewal for that is due in October and i will probably get something via quidco. At the last renewal i had a lot on and couldn't be arsed to change insurers as the cost was only about £85 with them.:)

For anybody wondering what the pru' is like to deal with if you have an accident,i have just had to report an accident claim with my pru car insurance and it is a no hassel experience.Used a freephone number, reported the accident to very pleasant lady, who asks a few questions and then i just have to wait for approved repairer to call me,who called within the hour to arrange to pick up my car the next day and deliver a courtesy car to me.After repair they will arrange to redeliver my car.The repairs are guaranteed for 5 years.Excellent service.:)

Even after the Pru's £130 quidco, Privilege is cheaper for me this time with their £70 quidco

Anybody got any stories to put me off them??

I'm due to renew in 3 weeks.
