Dont know if anybody else has this issue.

When playing COD4 online, if somebody then uses the phone it drops the PS3 connection and loses connection to the internet.

I'm on O2 broadband, PS3 is cabled directly into router not running it wireless.

Anybody experienced this

Yeh your phone line needs checking phone BT for a free check, hopefully its external line.

Had this before on gaming.

you need a broadband filter on every socket that has something plugged into it
eg if you have 3 telephone sockets.....1 has a phone....1 has sky....1 has a router....ALL need a filter on them first

Not true. Depends on loads of factors, but thats the AOL phone helpline easy route.

You can try this but It may or may not be the problem.

Try that then try BT. If its only just starting doing it im guessing the Line.

I know we have had a load of wind the last couple of days.

I used to have same problem with talktalk and sometime it's all right(connected wireless)
I thing this is because of some automatic updates it did sometimes ago

a faulty broadband filter could be an issue, or the phone line could have frequency issues between the data and the voice

Guess i need to get a new job then...because when im fixing adsl lines for bt,eclipse, tiscali,kc lines...I always get filters on all sockets that are in use...That is unless you have a pots socket put in :whistling:

Would you like to know the reasons behind this?

Is it just the PS3 that loses connection or do you see lost connections on your computer as well (e.g. webpages occasionally taking 30 seconds to load)?
