Have you got a CRT television?
If so, put it on that, then back to the plasma.

Hold the power button whilst switching it on. after the 2nd beep, it should tell you that it's detected the HDMI lead. If it doesn't then it seems that it's fooooooked.

cheers held power button on and it asked me if i wanted to use hdmi, seems ok now weird never did it before...
