  Whatever stuff is dowloaded on that console ie (cod maps) will be playable through the new account. But i don't think you can copy trophies or any of that other stuff.

  no, its tied to the PSN account. Creating a new user will allow access but creating a new PSN account will not.

  You can set up a second account and play games from the first account. If you did, the new user would be showing 0% completion on the trophies, so you could play through them again, thinking of doing this with plants vs zombies
  
  You can't transfer game saves or trophies though

  I thought you can link two ps3s together via ethernet,and copy everything over? I was planning on doing this whenmy slim arrived...

  You can copy saved game content from original PlayStatIon (PS1) & PS2 virtual memory cards created on your console.
  
  You can also copy saved game content between different PS3 accounts on one console, but some (newer) titles detect the data was created by another PlayStation Network account & the data is ignored. This was implemented to stop parties sharing saved game content & gaining PS3 Trophies they had not achieved first-hand.
  
  You can copy some saved data to external Universal Serial Bus-mounted drives &/or flash memory sticks.
  
  You can backup your entire PS3 console for later restoring back to the same console, or to another console.
  
  As mentioned above, you can copy content using the "Data Transfer Utility".
  
  Perhaps if you confirm exactly what you are trying to achieve then we can offer relevant advice.

  He wants to set up a new account on his new ps3 but wants to copy trophies over.
  
  If you want to continue playing on your old account on your new ps3 then all you do is recover your profile.
  
  You cannot transfer trophies to a new account.
  
  You have 2 options,
  
  Recover your original account on new ps3.
  
  Or start again with a new username and no trophies.

  Hi all i wnt to make another ps3 account to get a diffrent name so can i transfer my saved games , trophys etc over? also if i make a new one will my downloaded stuff still work
