PS3 Question...

£0.00 @
Just wondering if anyone uses a VGA cable for their PS3? If so, hows the picture quality and also, where did you get the cable from? Cheers

Have you looked here?

http://www.hdfury.com/

Was recommended to me last year when I was thinking about doing the same thing, I then went out and bought a 40" 1080p telly though! Various videos about it on youtube too.

I am thinking about getting something like a 30'' for my bedroom, but I heard a rumour of a price crash sometime before June.

The site looks a little....iffy to me. Never heard of these things before either :( I'm guessing its plugs into the back of the monitor and the PS3 HDMI cable plugs into that?

I'd be surprised if it is iffy as was recommended over at AV Forums, but as I haven't gone down that route myself I can't say either way! There is a whole forum attached to the site - may well be worth having a read through

BTW - people are selling these on Amazon Marketplace, not cheap though!

Hope this helps!

WOAH....Soon as I saw £50 I closed lol.

Really not looking to pay this much tbh. The VGA cable for my 360 only cost like £11 I think.

Grr....this is another reason why I think Microsoft are more practical than Sony.

Hi, I have not used this myself, but thinking about it, would the VGA cable would only transfer the video....... no sound right?

Most VGA cables for consoles have a red and white male pin to plug into your speakers. Luckily, the one I have here does that so it should work :)
