PS2 AV connector to RCA audio (red and white) female to 3.5mm headphone :)

Then just setup in the XMB that audio to go to AV Multi Output

I think it does. You can select to send audio to a bluetooth device but I don't have the cash to try out BT headphones! :) If you want to send me some I'll test it!

Works fine...

See I saw a nice pair of Sony ones on here for £20! They also had the ipod dongle thing.

If they do work i'll get a pair, at that price I'll probably get a pair anyways.

How do you have the PS3 connected to your TV?
#9
I actually have it connected to a monitor using an HDMI to DVI port, then using my old PS2 cable I have it plugged into a set of JBL spot speakers.

Just thought it would be cool using headphones but then playing online with a headset becomes troublesome.

I have phoned ASDA to ask about the Sony headphones and how to get them, the people instore are so dense they are of little use. Their vernacular is so bad even I struggle to understand them

Ah, I understand now - I didn't realise you could use the multi-out for audio while using the hdmi out in which case the two cables/adapters above are what you need. Should be able to pick them up relatively cheap these days.

Hi,

I had the EXACT same problem as you, if you're gonna be wearing headphones all the time I seriously recommend you spend decent money and go for these:

http://www.darkplanets.co.uk/xbox360/sharkoon-xtatic-headphones.asp

I have the earlier model but the 5.1 works a treat, takes a bit of getting used to mind.

Out of stock in the link I provided but look around, still loads of places that sell em. Best thing about these is they make full usage of the digital out on your PS3, so you get the best sound possible. :D

Er...If you guys mean using the BT headset to listen to game audio...then no you can't.

BT headsets are only good for chat...or if you play End War :P
