I'd rather have a free service that's been down for 1 month since launch than have pay £30/year for the privilege (Which is £150 total so far).
Live could have been hacked just the same, but this time it was Sony that treated their customers like d*cks so I guess they deserved it.

It's never going to be fixed. By that I mean no one should believe their data is safe from attack on this platform. All Sony have to do to fix this is to remove the Store (you would not need to keep cc on account then) as nothing is for sale but obviously because Sonys profit is tied up in this venture that will never happen.

Been said time and time again you pay in other ways on the higher premium on games, xbox360 pay it seperately via subs however it all works out the same overall.
As for xbox live being hacked/attacked it has been before however it was down for days and back up before most realy felt/noticed it, not weeks like the PSN :(

Can't think of a single game that I paid a premium to have it on PS3 rather than Xbox.

dcx doesn't have a console silly! Consoles are far too inclusive. Hell I even have people I actually know in real life on my friends list.
PC gaming is where its really at for folk like dcx.
