The one you listed will only show videos and stuff on your Tv. If you have a TV with component input (Most LCD TV's) you can use this cable which will allow you to watch videos on TV but also to play the games on TV as well

I wish I could help out more but I'm not completely sure about the cable required but there's definitely some out there that'll be cheaper than the ones offered at the Amazon link. :)

You gotta love her wit, it always brings a smile to my face. :)
She mentioned later on though that it was to be hooked up to a standard 20" tv

I think DealsExtreme take 2-3 weeks to deliver though, don't they due to being based in Asia?

Is there any cheaper in the UK, as I know someone that would be interested in this as well? :)

What colour are what? The holes??

There are three and they are red, white and yellow - the AV ones.
#36
Then you want the one with the same colour plugs on it.
This one will do which was posted earlier.

Having said that, I have now re-read all the posts and it is getting confusing as to what you can watch on your telly using these cables.
It would appear that some people are saying that you can only watch videos using this cable and that you need a different one for game playing on the tv.
I'm affraid I don't know the PSP that well so I think you had better ignore my advice.
Sorry.
#38
See I am not a numpty - I have tried to understand it all but its very confusing

If someone can tell me what I need for him to play his games and watch the vids I would be very very grateful
#39
Looking into this some more, it looks like, with your connections, you can only watch films and look at photos on your tv from the PSP.
Playing games on it is out. Sorry.

You would need the other type of connectors on your tv.
#40
The only way to play games on the TV is if they TV has these inputs:
