i have a PSP (phat) with official firmware 2.71.
and i am trying to download custom firmware onto it, i found this link...http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AgVia0hJSJ92e2wdz_MduxMjzKIX;_ylv=3?qid=20090204112532AABfb0g

i want to know:

-If i follow these steps will i have a psp with custom firmware. (if not, how?)
-Can i change my pandora battery that i created back into a normal battery or do i need to buy another one.
-Do i need 2 memory sticks or can i change the magic memory stick back into a normal one.

Any help ell appreciated... Rep on offer

Have a look here king mo
http://www.psp-hacks.com
or more specifically here
http://www.psp-hacks.com/forums/f133/the-new-hack-your-psp-thread-t227349/

This is the site I use when I need something done with my psp. Just be sure you know the dangers on bricking your psp etc, although since you have a pandora battery you should be ok. Just a quick search around psp-hacks forums and you should find answers to any problems.

The yahoo method may work but I personally would use the above site (probably because I don't have a pandora battery). HTH
