I may have a go later on with the custom firmware, fingers crossed. :)

3.71 M33
Patapon works if you change UMD ISO mode from M33 driver to Sony NP9660
(same for Simpsons, Harvest moon)

No you wont, lol.
Once your on official firmware you will be needing that Pandora Battery to get your PSP back on to custom firmware :)

All details for ALL custom firmware can be found at www.dark-alex.org seems only fair to direct you to the guy who actually makes it, not afterdawn who only post after-thoughts!
If you like the firmware (and let's be honest who doesn't?) then maybe donate a few £££'s to the cause to help out D_A, Math, Jas0nUK etc

Did have a go. thought I'd removed pin 5 from the battery and have all the reqired files on a 512 card.

It still boots up normal, so I'll have another go tomorrow.

If you have managed to get the battery part working look for something called "Pandoras box" I dont have a link at the moment sorry, that will have several file etc on it needed to create the memory stick, as you cant just drop the files on to it, it needs to be formated in a special way and have some partitions removed, I should be about later, I'll see if I can get you a link if you can't find it yourself,

Yeah, but you are still using the files created by the Prometious team to get the thing to run unsigned code i.e the custom firmware installer, it wont run off the bat, as the original post I commented on "seemed" to suggest, from further conversation it is cleat stora does know what is going on just not completely :P

One piece of advice after upgrading. If going from 3.4 to 3.71+, format your memory stick afterwards, and the corrupted data icons will dissapear if such is enabled in recovery mode. They didn't want to go in 3.4oe, but they do at 3.71m33-4 after a format.
