Ain't got the PSP yet or the housing. As you can see I'm interested in another PSP on this site....Once I've got one in my hands I'll order the housing. I guess that'll take a few weeks.
Probaly going to be the FAT model.

Whereabouts in Leicester are you located, and what "guarantee" are you giving? If you mess up the PSP what happens? And I'm talking about changing the ENTIRE housing meaning the faceplate, backplate, battery cover, UMD door, and Chassis.

Hi,
its actually surprisingly easy to change it yourself and save yourself some money, if you look on ebay you can pick up the housing in a wide range of colours for around £10- £15 with the tools needed aswell, there are videos on you tube and net showing you step by step how to change it yourself, be brave honestly its really easy

Hmmm....I tried fixing my old PSP and totally messed it up  Broke the screen connector and messed up the UMD door. Ended up selling it off as I had no time to fix it...:viking: It seems pretty easy but to be honest I don't think I want to risk it again. Thanks anyways, rep added!

Never meant to offend you mate, entirely sorry. By making that comment I just wanted to see any fedback from other memberd which I have found!

Can you fix PSPs I take it? Just found a very old one lying around but heck its faulty. The UMD open/close mechanism is totally messsed. Directional button flex cable is missing (but ive got a spare new one) and the big screen connector on the motherboard is broken, its like gone in, ive read the connector needs to be removed and the screen needs to be glued/soldiered? If i handed you this PSP with a new gold housing do you reckon you'l be able to fix the faults and replace the brand new housing to make the psp look new?

Just thought I'd add, you are a experienced PSP'er arent ya? Just taken a look at your feedback and other posts, you've got quite a experience with PSP's.

O yeah and I'm thinking of just getting another PSP so would you give me the black housing back if you replaced it?
