PSP memory card / stick help

I recently got a psp which only came with a 512mb memory card / stick with it.

I have been told that if i buy item 250564318887 then i can buy 2 x 170575030467 it would be a 32GB card and it will work in the PSP.

The reason why i want a big size card is so i can get custom software on the PSP and play games from the memory card.

Would there be any problems if i did the memory card like this as it works out quite abit cheaper than just buying a normal pro duo memory card.

Thanx

Apparently works but can run slower. I just have a cheap 8gb card and depending on the games can hold 8 up to 300+ if you put nes emulator. Only have to change the games every couple of months when my son wants something new to play

How big are the psp games?

The likes of fifa and tiger woods where they are trying to be accurate with facial features, are approx 1gb, I got one for my nephew an filled the card, he had over 30 games on it inc Toy Story 3, Need for Speed, Sonic and Modnation Racers. Toy Story 3 was about 160mb, most games average about 600mb.

I wouldn't buy memory cards from Ebay.

Games run from a few Mbs to nearly 2GB

Do not buy that card if you have a standard 1003 psp it will sort of "short circuit" it self and no longer work as the voltage is to the card is too high.. how ever it work's fine in 2003 models and 3003

if you want the cheapest way then buy an adapter from flebay their like £2 don't buy the dual one.

And buy an 8gb card from play.com £10.. or find a cheaper one. don't buy it from ebay as it will be fake!

If you're only looking for 4gb to 8gb. An adapter isn't really the way to go. It's kinda false economy. I'd just get myself a pro duo card. I'd only go for an adapter if you're looking to maximise your storage space.

I've modded about 30 PSP 1003s and never heard of any of them short circuiting due to dual micro SD card adapters. I've also searched pspmods and can't find anyone else having the problem. The only problem I've had was down to a faulty dual adapter but replacing it solved the problem.

I love having a 32gb card in mine, but to be honest there's only 12gb of good games for the psp, but it's nice to fill the rest up with movies etc.

i can assure you many people have had issues with the cr-5400 cardwhen used in 1003 psp's, iv'e tried using cr400 dual adapter's they stopped working the same day. Although some people have had some success using kingston card's.

Op up to you buy it but buy the one you linked.. that would be fine and an 8gb card form play.com or this one http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/sandisk-8gb-micro-sd-sdhc-card-clas/791508
