Which model is it? How did you brick it in the first place?

bricked it by dropping it while it was updating.... haven't been able to turn it on since.

a pandora's battery ought to do it i'd think. tho wait till someone who knows for sure can tell you.

Your magic memory stick should still fire it up, unless you've damaged something when you dropped it....

tried it and doesnt seem to be working :(
nothing comes on the screen and even when i press X like 20 times, nothing happens, no lights come on other than the power light.
