HMV have are advertising a rewards scheme on their website called Pure HMV where you can get gig tickets, film premiere tickets, exclusive items and signed products for shopping with them. Anyone gonna sign up? It costs £3.

Taken from their site:-

how it works
we're close to artists, directors, actors and developers. They give us access to amazing things, like backstage passes, tickets to live events, movie premi?s, exclusive limited editions and rare, signed stuff.

use your purehmv card or key fob every time you buy something in one of our stores or when you shop online at hmv.com. Collect enough points and then redeem them for one of our great rewards.

the arena
the arena is our members-only area, exclusively for purehmv cardholders. Preview the arena here to check out all the great rewards on offer. There's a limited number, and they're always changing. So it's a good idea to keep logging in to see what's new.

how to join
the quickest way is to buy a card and sign up online. We'll set you up with an hmv.com account at the same time. (If you've already got one, you can link your purehmv card). You can also join purehmv at one of our shops.

So how many points per £1?
spikeyjacko#3
100 points per £1
So basically if you shop at HMV alot, and spend £300 you could buy a £10 voucher :o !
NFS#4
If's all based on reward points then I wont bother as you are going to have to spend a fortune just to get some decent depending on what artists and companies sign up to the scheme so unless you spend a lot of money at HMV then dont see the point

100 points per £1

£300 = £10 Voucher...lol

where does it say 300 points for £1 spend? looked on site cant see no mention of how many points u get for £1

Was just quoting from the above post, done a quick scan on the T&C's and it says the following

Points are awarded at a rate of 1 point for every 1p spent. We reserve the right to vary the rates at any time at our discretion and on reasonable notice to you
CharlieandLola#7
T&C's also state that if you don't use your points within 2 years then you lose them, so I'm not going to join as I don't spend a massive amount with them and can't see me ever accruing enough points for anything decent within 2 years
n1ttygr1tty#8
i thought 100 points was too good to be true in other post lol 1pt for every £1 spent hmmm with some of the rewards in their thousands lol, its not very attractive reward scheme lol, wouldnt be so bad if it was 100 points for £1 spend lol,
oxlat#9
To be fair it's 1 point per penny. So £1 is 100 points.

You only need to spend around £150 to qualify for signed CDs and things like that which is pretty good. If you buy lots of birthday and Christmas presents there - or even just buy a console you're already getting stuff like that!
jayjay266#10
lil apprehensive at first but have signed up. some of the the rewards are things that money really cant buy. £3 is a low risk for a potentially greater reward?
