is the question as simple as it sounds? I thought there was a deeper meaning to it.. Couldnt work out why there would be a problem.. but then saying that i'm male and i've only visited the kitchen once in the last few years.. so I didnt feel qualified to comment.

Someone told me you shouldnt put any vibrating appliancies next to a fridge due to the gas in the back of them, thought it was a load of rubbish to be honest but thought i'd double check anyway

I would never leave a Milky bar next to anything hot

I was quoting that for the first three month's of moving in this flat. And the carpet was only new to me.

I wouldn't put a cooker next to a fridge jut so it wasnt over loaded... nothing Ive ever heard from a legit source! Go for it!

our condenser dryer runs for maybe 5 hrs a day... it makes the whole room hot and sticky..

if you have a choice have a separate ultility room for the washing machine and dryer, out of the way from the main kitchen.

I don't know about it being safe, but i do know that you should'nt put hot appliances ie, cookers directly next to fridges, there should be a space between at least, as your frdge has to work harder to keep cool making them less energy efficient.
i would deffinatley make sure there's a gap between your dryer and fridge.

Cos a fridge and dryer both work on stop start cycles could be power surge issues if plugged into same double plug outlet. Also energy efficiency of fridge would be compromised by heat from dryer. I have unneeded space in the bathroom in a large cupboard and have washing machine there. If you put electrical appliances in bathroom though need to make sure all electrics are safely away from water.
