sassies plan

turn laptop off (thanks birdy)
open back compartement
take out 256 stick
put in 2 of 512 sticks
close compartment back up

Anything else i should be doing, so as not to blow the bleddin thing up, cheers x

radiator do? last tiem i put memory into desktop it kerknackered it, i had to reformat it :oops:

and remember to replace the oil and filter, and grease where applicable.

I'm not sure about the Medion but my gf's laptop only had 1 slot for RAM when i took the back off, turns out the other was under the keyboard so if you cant find a second slot may be worth looking under there!

you take the battery out as there is always voltage to the ram slots so hitting the wrong pin during insertion can fry the sticks
