I have the demo and yes it's a good enjoyable game but I'm not paying such a premium for the exact same game on the Nintendo switch £15 more!!!

Cartridges aren't that expensive who they kidding, it's essentially a micro SD card (with a flimsy rattly custom casing, & contacts) I can buy a 8Gb one for a few pounds so they must be pennies to make! This games only about a Gb in size! S

Should be the same price on all platforms, the greedy sods!

It's to do with the proprietary cartridges. That's why some games are digital only. Obviously £15 extra isn't all to do with he cartridge.

Don't buy it from Argos and you can obtain it for a bit cheaper. £23.52 on Digital.

does make me wonder if the cart will become rare after a few years hmmm...

I would pay £23.52 for the cartridge or even £24.99, and £19.99 for the digital version seems fair, but £15 extra for a physical copy seems unfair treatment of us Switch owners who have already paid through the nose for Nintendos hardware!

New gen console what do you expect? It's why ps4 games were cheaper than the ps3 versions at console launch

bear in mind you've probably just paid between £48-60 for Zelda on the Switch, this happens with console launches and launch windows.

I think theirs a bit of greed behind it, As they know were desperate for more games on the platform!
every Switch owner should email sega and Nintendo or reach out on social media and demand fair prices for games!
People power! :D x

I may be mistaken, but I think you'll find it's called supply and demand!

Vote with your wallet then, don't buy it and then when the copies that are sat on store shelves don't move then they know you won't pay it. So then it drops in price in the coming weeks.

i plan to pay £23.52 for digital on the US store front, as i don't want a cartridge version of this and would prefer quick access to a puzzle game that i do belive i'll get £23.52's worth of entertainment out of it.

Bear in mind i paid $60 for the Japanese version of it back in 2005 in New York City and i played like an hour or two out of it, so this to me is a steal. I've played the english demo and enjoyed it. so it'll be a definate purchase for me.

Wrong way round Bure. :p
It did annoy me when the ps4 games were more expensive than the ps3 ones (by about £10 I think) especially when they say "the ps3 is a nightmare to code for"....so if the ps4 is easier then why isn't it cheaper. (_;)
However I will add that in the US the prices were mostly the same for either version, so it really was SCEE and the stitch up Europeans attitude. :D

I can't remember where i read it, but the prices of games have to be roughly same as estore. So they wouldn't release a physical copy because it would bump up the cost and make it more to buy digitally.

Isn't there already a thread from the OP already highlighting and voicing upset at the price of Switch games?

It more expensive but you are really getting two version. One to play on a TV and the other to play in portable mode. You can't play the PS4 version on the train. :D
