I have a techwood 42 inch plasma screen but it's developed 2 black bars on the screen each side, I was trying to decide should I throw it into the local skip or maybe chuck it on ebay and hope for £30?

are you insured?
#2
is the black bars definately a fault or does the picture just need resizing?
#3
No it's a fault for sure. It's about 4 years old now and it's not insured but it needs to go just trying to decide if I should try and get something back on it as I paid a huge amount back then or just bin it and be done.

have you tried phoning a tv repairs specialist telling them the problem and asking if they can fix it, although they wont be able to specific about repair costs im sure they can say if it be over £100 to repair.
Anything less would defo be worth repairing
