No the lass is going to see one tonight after work, she is getting rid of her urban 1.0 lite pug 57 plate, she wants something wth a little more oomph !!

What does the multijet mean and what models doy uo get it on? just diesel ones ?

In the boot is a plate and if the engine code is 350A1000 then it is a 8 valve
if the code is 199A6000 then it is 16 valve

Also on the V5 the 8 valve says 57kw and the 16 valve says 70kw

The multijet is a type of diesel engine. In the Grande Punto you can get a 1.3 multijet and a 1.9 multijet. You can only get the 1.9 multijet in the sporting or elaganza trim and the 1.3 multijet in the other trim levels.

If your after a petrol, I'd go for a 1.4 16v and preferably the T-Jet which is a good engine and will have the oomph your after ;-) (120bhp) . Id go for a Sporting if you can, trim and spec is alot better.

When does the timing belt have to be changed, the car she is away to get has done 38000 miles

Does the "sport" just men trim etc, like AC EW and all that...or is it like side skirts and cool stuff :)

Yes active sport is just a trim level. I think it basically comes with alloy wheels and side airbags over the basic active model. More information on models here...

Also you will find a lot of information on fiatforum about the car etc. and people probably better at answering questions there...
