Currently on my quad core I have a nVidia 9800GTX+ 512mb graphics card. A friend of mine just upgraded his computer to an i7 and have selling me a nVidia Geforce X260 1GB card very very cheap.

Can I install both the cards together on my Striker Extreme II motherboard with Windows 7?

What are your recommendations

yeah you can using an sli bridge but they'll run at the speed of the 9800 as its slower than the 260.

So would it be better to take the 9800 out and have the 260 or have both of them together

You don't need an SLI brdige, you can't sli them, you can do diff makes and speeds but need to be the same model.

You can however use the GTX260 for graphics and the 9800 for physx.
