i am a.....
Breakfast
Lunch
& Tea person.
Maybe it depends where you come from
I always understood dinner to be a hot meal at lunch time/lunch to be a cold meal at lunch time and tea to be..well.....tea lol

looked up tea and it calls it a drink lol
so maybe like forharry said tea originates from afternoon tea or high tea..as in being a snack with a drink of tea?

I 'm a good person anytime anywhere and call it food

Usually lunch and dinner except on sundays then its bruch and dinner just to add to the confusion

At what time do people have their evening meal though? What is "dinner time"?

I hate it when people say I'll be there about dinner time cos I never know when that is. I tend to eat about 5:30 but I know some who eat at 4 and others at 8. Bloody confusing!

Funnily enough I use the term lunch when out working and making appointments with folk...eg..'I'll call around lunchtime'....but if I'm making appointments for evening I still refer to it as teatime!

Yes,I am confusing!
