Hey, this is my first post, how exciting!
I signed up with a cashback contract ( http://www.phones4u.co.uk/shop/shop_contract_details.asp?itemkey=161077
) that I saw on here after doing some reading up on it, but I've just got a couple of questions that I can't seem to find on here.
Firstly, what count as my first bill? I've just received what I would consider to be my first bill after one month (the first time money has gone out of my account) but do they consider any of the information they sent me before that (customer note, transfer agreement and T+C) to be a bill? Because obviously that will affect when I need to send the redemption form in.
The second question is more general noob contract related. This is the first time that i've been onto contract and I seem to be paying more than I expected. The deal was for £40 a month, but my first bill has come through saying £52 plus vat. I've not gone over my allotted minutes or messages, so why am I paying more than the advertised £40? Can I reduce this tarrif? If I do so will it affect my cashback?
Thanks in advance for any help
