Question about sky +boxes

Can anyone please tell me about sky + boxes. We have one hd one that is full and a non hd one (also full). Am I right in thinking that sky do a bigger capacity hd one and if so how much would it cost to upgrade to get one? Is there any other way to get one? I have seen some doctored ones on ebay (a terrabite etc?) but are these really worth buying - if anything goes wrong with them then sky would n't touch them I think? Thanks a lot

If the ones on ebay go wrong just buy a new one, if its out of warranty sky would charge a fortune to fix it anyway

You can buy a 1tb box from Sky for £250, or just upgrade the hard drive in your existing box for circa £70
how would I go about upgarding the hard drive in the box?
thanks but way too teccie for me - not sure we could do this.
