How do i arrange to pay my National Insurance by quarterly bill rather than by direct debit without telephoning HMRC.

Honestly? I have a weird phobia. I'm like one of those people who screams when ever they see some baked beans or a pigeon, except for me, i start to breathe fast and get sweaty and extreeeeeeeeeeamly nervous when i have to ring someone. I always avoid it if i can. I don't think i've rang anyone i don't personally know for around 2 years now. Even hearing the phone ring for an incoming call gives me a burst of adrenalin and gets my heart racing. I'm the same with needles. I'll go through with it if i 100% have to but i'll avoid it like the plague if i can. I know it's completely irrational and if and when i do phone someone, it's never a bad experience when i look back on it.

God bless the internet and e-mail.

The odd thing is, i'm an amateur hypnotist (hence my username) and can cure phobias and addictions (and do some really crazy but coooool party tricks), but it just never worked on myself so i cant even use that as a way to get over this fear.

Nice to know there are other people out there that are a bit like me. I have much the same thing but when face to face. I'm fine on the phone with strangers, but face to face I'm awful.
