i dont not like it, i just wouldn't wear it coz it's not the type of dress i would wear. if someone else wore it i wouldn't think 'i dont like that' :)

I think its the type of dress that can be worn to most places/events etc, just need the right accessories :)

It looks quite dressy... is that satin? Or a polyester mix?

As some have said it looks quite, perhaps "for the more mature woman"...

It isn't something I would pick as I wouldn't be comfortable in it... I'd choose something more relaxed, easy to wear and colourful.

Were you looking for a dress with a particular outing in mind? Or just for regular day wear?
#27
Not my thing either, maybe to a xmas do or a meal if i had to, it's a very formal looking dress.

Don't know COM I just bought it from debenhams sale. I was thinking meal out. I am 33, so quite middle aged anyway.:)

Sweetie you're younger than me, I'm 35.

In fact you're a great age for coming out with me :) We'll have to hit the shops together! :-D

Enjoy the dress.. put it on for a trip round Tesco with some red high heels and totter round the alcohol aisle :) Thirties are THE age for being a bit naughty :w00t:

You are not middle-aged.
Wear it where-ever you want to as long as you feel comfortable in it and it's your sort of dress you can wear it to Tesco, like snowy says, or anywhere else. Probably a posh meal out or the Christmas do, jazzed up a bit, so that it doesn't look too 'funeral'.

edit - queenlush - snap!!

Bridesmaid?

Thats what is suggested in their website as well:thumbsup:

I have a very similar dress, Lipsy I think it is though its probably more fitted and shorter at the bottom but I have to say it looks far better on than on the hanger and clings to every curve etc.

Have you tried it on Marina with your heels, accessories etc?

No fireheaven, have just ordered:thumbsup: But after this thread am not sure. I knew it wouldn't get used a lot, but still bought it like I always do:)

actually hun, that was a great big fib, i dont do dresses, anyway if you like the dress buy it and where it to wherever you think is suitable, i go with what i want to wear, not what others think i should
