Can anyone tell me their experiance on going on a cruise? did you prefer this or do you think it's better just going to an exotic island or something?

Any suggestions somewhere

BAKING HOT
PALM TREES
WHITE SANDS
BLUE WATER (lol)

Something for the mid 20's age group

Not Disneyworld.. Not Europe

I've done a cruise of the Caribbean and it was great. You get all of the above you listed and if you choose a 1 week cruise - 1 week stay option you get the best of both!!

Did the cruise with Ocean village and loadsof other young couples. Partying till the early hours and 24hr food so eat burgers at 3am and sit out on deck watching the world go by

I was on the phone with disney cruise line and they said that we wouldnt need to pay for food, but if you make a reservation at a restaurant (over 18 only) you have to pay?

And do you get time to relax without the noise? Is a week enough or do you think 2 weeks ?

Hi, we did a two week cruise in the med. We had our meals all inclusive....6 per day!!!
It was nice and there were plenty of facilities on board but I felt that we never really saw anywhere very well as it was only ever a half day with a couple of full days in places.
I never found noise an issue but there were parties when you sailed away from port, ice carving, cocktail of the day, quiz etc I've done it once, I would do it again but I don't know that I would like to do it every holiday.
We were give a card at the start of our stay...a bit like a ships credit card and we used that to pay for any additional items ie: alcoholic drinks!! lol

lol... very tempted!

Can i ask you, when you get off the plane, out of the airport how far is this beach? or are there a number of beaches? what's pricing like for travelling in taxis or is there any need? Are there resorts like disneyworld where everything is in one area? And how do you arrange these speed boat activies etc? Sorry about the random questions! your fault :p

Oh and where did you stay? was it expensive? the glass floor sounds fab! i still havent taken my wife for a honeymoon :(

this was fihalhohi, there are many maldive islands to choose from, our transfer by boat from the airport was approx 45 mins, the island itself took just 20 mins to walk around lol
there are no cars on the island,if you want to do an excursion its all by boat, this island offered lots of trips that you booked at reception, shopping, sight seeing in the main capital "male" etc

there is evening entertainment,we had singers, karaoke, films going on etc but found we enjoyed strolling round the island and simply making the most of the peace

Hubby also booked a candlelit dinner on the beach that was a 5 course meal,it was so romantic

on this island there are the water bungalows and also some villa like apartments

for 2 adults on a full board basis we paid £2700 for a week, expensive i guess but more than worth it for paradise

oh and the watersport activities were put on by the island and booked in a hut on the beach

cancun.....was there last year! there were 10 of us in total - 5 couples ages 21-26 was amazing! you have the beautiful hotels, good shops and white sand beaches for during the day then the nightlife is fantastic for evening. a must! every person we went with would recommend it! you have to go to coco bongo's too if you go - best club ever
