My Philips shaver became faulty 18 months after purchase (while under 2 year guarantee) this was then replaced by a brand new one. A year later the new one became faulty. I sent it in to be repaired as the new one was within 2 years of receipt and I was told that it was going to repaired.
Upon checking the status with the repair centre today, I was told that I shouldn't be getting any warranty with the shaver and that they're providing me with a new shaver as a good will gesture. They also told me that they won't be any more warranty with this replacement.
Surely there should be some sort of warranty in place if the new system goes wrong, even though it is over 2 years since I purchased the original one?
