My sister has moved out of our parents house and she had a Sky multi room plus box in her bedroom.
The new property she has gone to already has a sky dish wired up with 2 feeds.. As the area has no free view, I suggested just taking down her existing sky box and card and plugging it in of which it works fine with all channels etc..
The question is..... Do sky pro-actively or can they remotely check the location of the sky box and cross reference it to the default address it should be used at ??
She was going to get Sky anyway.... but using this method it will only cost her the extra £10 per month under the current package at the other address compared to a full subscription.
Plus... she only planning to be at this new address for 6 months too...
Also... the Sky contract is out of the 12 month contract period so all equipment is owned.
