Quick question about Ryanair luggage!

Well we are off tomorrow from Liverpool-we had cases for under 10kilos and daughter's friend coming with us has turned up with much bigger than allowed...
It says on the site no baggage sharing although it is letting me add checked in baggage (I just added 2 checked in for 5 people)
Will Ryanair allow me to do this when we check in? I tried to call them and its just automated...
Thanks if you can help me!

half the time they dont even weigh the bag, they will ask you if you have anything to put on the underdeck thing just say no. (as long as her bag aint HUGE)

Otherwise it will cost £15 for you to put on on the under deck.

well I went to Valencia the other day (business trip), using ryan air, although my bag was under 10kg and a small size, the women at the counter just asked me "do you have any bags to declare" I just said no, and she didn't even weigh my bag, or even look at the size of it. The same thing happened on the way back. This could just be normal procedure or perhaps the women were lazy, either way, I could of took a 20kg bag on if I wanted too :)

Just make sure it aint a huge suitcase, because then you will have problems when you get on the plane.

ok thanks! will look at it-im sure im worrying needlessly-just they charged son on jet2 £36 one way as the case that was ok t check in on the way was not allowed on the way back -and it was the same!

No. I would not risk it. We have had to pay extra in Liverpool with Ryanair. BTW. We are flying out to Dublin from Liverpool on Wednesday.

Yes. One of them looked slightly bigger, it was not really, but it was 1.5 kilo over.

Also, according to Ryanair, you cannot put stuff of another party in your back. It is best to state that it is your bag, containing your things if asked.

well ryanair didnt weigh the cases to take onboard just the stow ones-and one was a bit big but no question at Liverpool. At Budapest they didnt even stop you taking extra bags and didnt seem interested even in drinks etc-people carried them through! and you were not limited to one hand luggage either from Budapest!

If you do risk it make sure you have no liquids over 100 ml. If you try to get through security with over sized liquids you WILL be stopped.

darren i did and im back-see above-but no we didnt take any liquids at Liverpool in hand luggage. One thing tho Ryanair was much more expensive for driks onboard than first choice airways! £1.50 for the little can of coke or £2.50 for 500ml water. Buy at WHSmith before departure!
