Quick Sky Question

I've just cancelled my sky tv subscription as best sky could offer was 25% off a 12 month subscription. I'm looking to keep my HD box and use that to watch freeview. Do I need to do anything special to do this?

Also will I still be able to record / pause TV?

No and no afaik.
that's a shame ... I'll miss the ability to record programmes :-(
I am sure that you can record by pressing record but the ability to time set or series record vanishes unless you pay £10 a month for the service from sky
On my sky + box you can see what happens by taking out the card
You can't record, you need to pay £10 a month for the PVR services or a sky subscription.
You could sell your sky hd box and buy a quality (humax etc) pvr with the money too record with, that's of coarse if your sure you wont want to go back to sky in future.
