Quick Three (3) Rolling Monthly Sim Question

Hi,

I'm interested in Three's range of monthly rolling contracts. Currently I'm torn between the £10 deal (SIM10) with 100 minutes and the £15 deal (SIM15) with 300 minutes. Obviously the latter is much better value for money but I probably dont use much over 100 if any anyway.

My question is can I change my tarrif freely (every month) whenever I want so that if I'm going on holiday say or in the run upto Xmas I can switch to the £15 tariff for a month or two and then switch back, or will I have to get a new SIM, port my number etc...

Thanks.

why dont you just go to tesco (250 mins for £10) or Vodafone or 02 (300 mins for £10)?
and i dont think you can :S
but phone up and ask. i think you have to cancel your contract and then re-start a contract? i duno but phone up and ask.

Thanks for your reply.

I have looked at TEsco but they dont offer any data allowance. This is my main reaason for staying with Three, but also the free Skype services and the fact that the 3G signal is very good in the areas that I frequent.

In cas anyone is interested I asked in-store and was told that I could only upgrade my package and that I would have to go through the lark of getting a new SIM and porting my number to do this. Yet the CS only reps told me that I could do whatever I want (i.e. go up and down plans) as often as I want simply by making a phone call. Still unresolved then, anyone here have any affirmative knowledge please?
