I've been hearing alot of people talk about quidco, just wondered how it all works & how you get it to recognise things you've brought? Also does it work with ebay & how much to you get?

Quidco is the web's cashback cooperative. Quidco collects referral commissions from online merchants and passes them all on to our members. The Quidco cooperative is a cashback revolution where members keep their full earnings in exchange for giving Quidco £5 out of their earnings once a year.

The Quidco model works for both the merchant and you. It enables the merchant to reach a large base of motivated savvy buyers and it enables you to get back big savings by buying from merchants who participate in the model.

Basically you register, then every time you visit a retailer you visit quidco first and click the link t o the relevant retailer. Then you are awarded a percentage of the spend, it takes a while to get paid due to the various processes. The first £5 earnings are paid to Quidco but the rest is yours to keep.

Ebay is no longer with Quidco but they are available on a few of the other sites still
Look at the MSe cashback checker and that will tellyou which sites do quidco and the percentage paid.

an important part to understand is that just because it says you will recieve cashback does not mean you will get it. Jessops is supposed to be on quidco and it appears on the list. but if you spend £650 dont expect it to track.

twice now £650 tv £650 camera used quidco and got nothing. my micro dircet £1.22 cashback tracked thou, so it balanced out

Its never guaranteed but there are such a lot of good cashbacks its definitely worth using, after all if you would be buying the item anyway its money you would never have had before.

I have used it for 18month now and had about £600 back, and loads of people have had much more.

Do you actually get the £600 cash, back in your hand?

You can arrange to get the money deposited into your bank account or paypal account.

At the time of the Grand National Betfair gave you £50 for registering via Quidco - my money was received by Quidco yday. I made a £10 deposit with Betfair, bet some of the winnings, Betfair gave me another £20, so for my £10 I got £70 in return. :)

Into my bank account yes. Its paid at the end on the month, any amount they have received, you can set it to pay only when you have reached a certain level or just have it clear into your account each month.,
The process goes that you click onto a retailer site and make purchase, the amount should then appear on your earnings page as tracked, some time later (varies between retailers) it validates then later it is flagged as received. Once Quidco have received it it can be paid into your account at the end of the month/ early next month.
Sometimes stuff doesnt track but then you can submit an enquiry, sometimes its decline d and you can appeal, I have to say I have had almost all mine track and pay out I think its only failed 4 times and two of those were eventually paid after I appealed.
