Hello. I am quite new to cashback and have only recently signed up to quidco. Just wondered in the whole whether people have had good experience/reliability with it. The reason i ask is that my car insurance is up for renewal v.shortly and on all the comparision websites more th>n is coming out cheapest and quidco offer £65 cashback with a new policy!!
I know its a case of if it works it works and nothing to lose, but just wondered on the reliability and whether to get my hopes up or not? Regards

Go with rpoints, much more reliable, they'll match quidco if they have the same company listed. They give you £5 to join, pays your first year annual fee, they pay you £5 each to refer people.

I have used quidco the last two year for car insurance (direct line and Churchill) and got £100 from both but i cant really speak for More than though as it is a different parent company.

Ensure you read this before placing your insurance purchase !!!!!!

Would recommend Quidco, normally all purchases have tracked and paid those that did not Quidco investigated and were subsequently paid.

be very careful with using comparison sites, as this might disqualify you from getting cashback!

So delete your browsing history before you go through quidco.

Been using quidco for over 2 years and not had any problems. Purchases tracked every time but once and even then they managed to find it and pay payment when I asked them about it! I use it very regular and saved over £300 in the process!

that won't be sufficient as eg. for car insurance they will have your number plate.

Hmm. I have read through the above link about tracking it correctly. Now im not sure about this. Ive just had a phone call from More th>n saying if i do it today blah blah blah they'll knock £30 off...... so it might be worth taking the guranteed £30 off rather than the 50:50 chance of getting £65 cashback of the higher price. Agree?

I'd say you're better off with the guaranteed £30 off. Even if Quidco does pay out, you won't get the cash for another 3 or 4 months.

saved a friend over £200 the other day by going through quidco for car insurance, he had a quote for £380 for renewal and when he went through quidco had a better insurance for £187 with £75 cash back as well so his insurance was just over a hundred pounds
and it has trac ked already
I have had no problem with them they are great:thumbsup:

yup had mine declined with sheilas wheels, as they said i used another site, i did use a comparison site, then opened a new browser and went through quidco, not sure what will happen next year though if they have my number plate

most important thing is to use a different browser solely for quidco. Then you don't have to worry about clearing history, caches etc. I'd hate to lose my history, cache etc.

Ive found quidco fantastic. Ive earned over a grand from it in just over a year, which is easy to do. Its definately worth the fiver a year it costs.
