I would say yes, from personal experience. Over the past 3 years I have been paid over £300 in cashback!

no - use topcashback its free and quidco charge £5 a year

It depends how much of your shopping you do online! If you take advantage more often of the cashback offers you'll get more of your money back and if you use it also for purchasing utilities and other services you can make even more savings.
So what I am saying is it depends on you!

Depends how good your memory is. Could end up costing you a dent in your forehead where you keeps hitting with your palm while saying "Doh I forgot quidco!!!" :D

Ah another site, blast did not know about this one......only found out about Quidco from this site,of which only found out about hot-deals 10 mths a go,and that was only by chance, have to say saved ££££££££££££££ since hot-deals!!
Just having the time,is what!
How long have these type of site been going?

Yes well worth it - I've got over £1500 cash back over 5 years. When it comes to larger items like insurance I always go to a comparison site to get quotes, then check what quidco cashback is available and then purchase direct through quidco link.
Have also done this for the inlaws - they are well chuffed that we are finding lower premiums for their utilities when the renewal notices come in and we gain the cashback for the kids piggy banks
#8
Also worth noting that I have looked at other cashback sites but Quidco seem to pay the most and the payment tracking is pretty good

Pretty much this... the number of times that I've just gone in and bought stuff on line and then remember that you have a Quidco account.... doh!! So, just a case of making a habit of going to quidco first.

Whichever one you use, either way it's money for nothing. If you were going to buy anyway, it's win win. Innit?
#11
well have got topcashback as well now, this would seem better as they do not take your 1st £5..so Xmas shopping for us,to night I thinks!lol

TCB also do a price match if you find somewhere else offering a higher rate they match it !

You also get bonus payments

Its way better than Quidco

I use Quidco have only been using it for about 6 months and had over £100 back, so well worth it. They do seem to have the best offers.
#15

There's no point closing it,you might get cashback from there when there's none available on TCB.

Won't I have to keep paying £5 though if I leave it open?

Am I not right in saying admin sold quidco? So they are no longer owned by the same company? anyway I use topcashback now purely because of the 5quid fee on quidco. in saying that they also tend to beat quidco on rates so I would def recommend using them.
#23
No DLM they only take the fiver when you make it in cashback. If you haven't earned any then you don't pay anything

You do know this site makes money off you whether you use Quidco or not don't you?

I know they use affiliate links, but can't say it bothers me...I respect a good business model that makes a profit by saving people money.

How does using a company that has nothing to do with this site showing your appreciation? If you want to thank them, don't go through any cashback site and just use the affiliate links.

I do use the links from this site when there is no cashback avalable.

Am I not right in saying admin sold quidco? So they are no longer owned by the same company?

How does using a company that has nothing to do with this site showing your appreciation?

The former chief executive of Friendsreunited.com, Michael Murphy, recently led a management buy-in of Quidco (not a management buy out),...so how do you know that Paul & Jen Nikkel don't still retain a percentage of the company

EDIT they do still co own Quidco

nothing on that link shows they still own it?
Plus Paul has said previously that he just owns shares now and doesn't have anything to do with the day to day running of the company.

LOL...so he says he still owns shares, but you say he doesn't own it....they haven't floated on the market yet so he owns a very large chunk of the equity. he's bought in a hard hitting CEO who now has a very large interest in bringing the company to a floatation and runs the operation. Do you really think Paul is that stupid that he isn't retaining control on the board of directers until at lest the floatation date.....get real
