I applied for a G-Pak from Money4Gold via Quidco, instantly tracking at £23 cashback. When I received the pack I put in one, broken, small gold hoop (really really tiny), then did the same for my husband's Quidco account and put one small, broken, back of a cufflink in the pack. Thus £46 for practically no outlay. (I bought the broken cufflink specially, from a boot sale for 50p!) I received cheques for £1.33 and 99p respectively, and the cashback will be validated within three weeks. Will keep you posted on that!

"Money4GoldUK pays UK consumers for old, unwanted or broken gold jewellery. With the current state of the economy and gold prices near record highs, now is a great time to sell jewellery that is just collecting dust.

Your G-Pak comes with full instructions and our service is pre-paid so there is no postage to pay. Simply place your items in your G-pak and send them back from your local post office counter. Money4GoldUK is backed by a multi-million, publicly listed US company (SYMBOL: MFGD) and we offer a no-quibble 100% satisfaction guarantee if youre not 100% happy with the cheque we send you, you can request your precious metals back free of charge. requested my gold pack on 27th sept, received my cheque on 14 oct but mines still hasnt validated :(
a warning to everyone, yes its fine to send i piece of broken jewellery just to try get the cashback but please dont send quantities as the money they give per gram is ridiculous, i sent a small thin bracelet and got £1.88, absolutely shocking as would def have been at the very least 1g
#8
well, at least this makes up for their outstandingly awful prices for Gold....
#9
Great if it works but i'm sick of the spam emails i get from these people

Agreed - I would check with an auction house or jeweller before accepting the prices from any of these companies for anything half decent
#16
Thanks, worth a try

Yep those robbing sods, could do with a hammering :whistling:;-)

I thought the gold had to be worth a certain amount for cashback to be paid? Not sure if it will validate.

Taken from topcashback

"Sent off my gold and received a cheque for £60 a week later .Not happy with amount and returned immediately. 2 weeks later still hadn't received my jewellery, so rang them quoting their 30 day double amount guarantee and time running out to qualify. 2 more phone calls, and guess what, received jewellery back outside the 30 days! Took to another dealer who gave me £225! Avoid this company!"

Mumbojumbo, sounds to me like this company is takin the p**s anyway
#24
I hope this won't be too intrusive being a noob and not really relevant to the deal, but as others have said don't send them a large amount of jewellery as they pay around £2.00 per gram when the actual price is more like £7.50!! Just a friendly warning to those who aren't in the know :)
#25
Ive tried topcashback and when you go to validate my email address it won;t let me do it so not sur eif they have cottoned on has this happened to anyone else?
#26
just done it

that £122 this year from quidco
#27
Its on topcashback too, but they are offering a minimum of 1% extra till christmas. I wont use quidco again until my morethan payment is sorted (10months and counting)

have you got unwanted gold?

turn those bullion bars you have just sitting around doing nothing into real cash.

yes thats right, turn your precious gold into pocket money.

burglars, have no way of quickly hiding your stole stash?

carry around a couple of these cash 4 gold bags, do the burglary and then post your ill gotten gains straight into a royal mail post box to dispose of the evidence and a few weeks later get cash for your crimes sent straight to your local authority controlled bail hostel.

i just hate these people and their adverts
#29
I'm probably misreading this but doesn't the £19 commisssion have to come off thus making £4 profit?
#30
Worth a try good find
Heat and rep from me:thumbsup:
#31
On Ipoints you have to send a minimum of 10g for points to be awarded, have just read through the Quidco offer and it doesn't say a minimum but I can't find anyone who can confirm cashback received? I've read some of the Quidco clans but can't find anything positive, and done a Google search and all I can find is people complaining about them. May be worth sending something of very very little value just to see what happens.
#32
thats very very good but the price of gold is up and down all the time and at this moment in time its peaked so make the most of it before it goes down again!!!!
#33
I was wondering what £19 commission meant as well!
#34
These people are clever...put a deal up that seems to make you a tidy amount, knowing that the small print grabs it back....except for all those little packages by then sold on!
#35
oh i'm sure i have some broken ones around. thanks!
#36
£19.00 Commssion? What a joke, So Quidco is basically £4. Or are they going to ask for £19 off us?
#37
also available on topcashback!

I'd just worry that they'll ask for £19 and not pay the Quidco as, as we all know, Quidco is not guaranteed.
