Quidco. Why have The Hut declined my cashback?

Hi all. I've only just started using quidco and a few months back bought something from Tesco but got nothing for it and assumed I had made a mistake. I couple of weeks ago I ordered a DS game from The Hut and I've just checked quidco and it says it was validated on the 24th May but on the 29th May it was declined! Why would that be?

Cookies track internet movement. ( I think if not I'm sure someone will correct me! lol ) Not an expert but some programes block the relevant cookies as I understand it. There was something on Quidco about it will try and find a link for you.

I use top cashback for my cashback. They have a facility where you can check to see whether your cookies are enabled. you could check on there and see if it works. From their homepage click the green "join here" square (top right), then click on "getting started", on the left hand side.
Scroll down until you come across this:
"Ensure software on your computer doesn’t block your cashback
As well as visiting some of the quick, easy and free sites mentioned above, you also should also be aware of the following:

You need to have cookies enabled in order for us to be able to track your cashback. Also, some software is known to interfere with your tracking on certain (though not necessarily all) sites, which could result in you losing your cashback. If you have Norton Internet Security installed, then you need to take particular care. Please visit our Cookie Check page and our Norton page (if applicable). "
You'll see that "cookie check" is underlined, click there and it will check that your computer will track your purchases properly. It might help you to see why Quidco didn't work.

You have just mentioned the 2 retailers that I have had the main quidco problems with. Tesco .com doesnt always track for me but when I raise an enquiry they always cough up. The Hut is the only transaction ive had declined. Thats because the item i ordered and paid for was not in stock so when they came to pay the cashback the order had not been fulfilled so it was declined. 24 hrs later they sent the goods!
