I been looking at insurance for a couple of cars on comparethemarket.

Why is quinn diect so cheap every single time, it doesnt matter what car i use. At times its over £1k cheaper than the next cheapest.

Has anyone used them? Do they stick to the price that is given, it just seems so cheap.

Just seems strange, one of the cheapest quotes was £1500, there's was £850.

Take a look at the excess.....When I used compare the market I found the cheaper quotes had very high excess levels.

In that case you take a gamble. If you don't have an accident you save money, if you do it will cost you.

That could be the reason

My eldest has just taken out a policy with them and paid £820 rather than £1650 with other companies.

no excess is cheap too

They are very cheap... knocked £600.00 off my quote last year so i decided to go with them. Turned out to be a big mistake after i had to make a claim ( crashed into by an uninsured driver). They send a claims investigator round who wrote my car off!!! which i was gutted about. A few months later i spot my car in the carpark at work all fixed and back on the road lol Even though i offered to buy it back of them and repair myself.

Not cheap for everyone as they want £1200 for my S-Type Jag where as Esure want £279.

we used them for a year about 3 yrs ago ish, they were fine, though we didn't need to make a claim. Halifax is cheaper than Quinn for us now.

Hey I just went on Confused.com and found the cheapest quote to be Quinn.

Anyone else got any experience with them or care to share more thoughts. I'd never heard of them up until this point but seeing as they're quoting me £1000 whereas almost everyone else is quotiong £2500 I dont think I have any other real option.
