And now cant sleep? Past 4 nights I feel like I havent slept, I was checking clock every 10-20mins last night and again tonight am wide awake. Had warm bath, hot choc, read for over an hour and here I am again, back downstairs. Anyone else had this - I'm on day 10, and am wondering a) is it even connected and b) if so how long will it last?

I haven't smoked for nearly 10 years. But, I still wouldn't dare touch one. The habit never leaves you completely. :-(

Good luck. Are you doing any exercise? If not, It would be a good time to increase your activities. That way you would have another release instead of smoking. Will also give you more energy throughtout the day and aid sleep.

Thanks for replies

Have got up this morning feeling awful again after next to no sleep. Also woke with a mega sore throat so dont feel like eating anything, will see if this has any affect on my sleeping tonight!

Well done to all those who have quit, I've quit twice before each time for just over a year and am determined this time to stay smoke free for good. Its great to hear how long people have quit for :)
