Try not to use Google, thats http://www.google.com or any other search engine eg. http://www.yahoo.com , http://www.dogpile.com etc. Also no asking JEEVES or any of your family, such as your great grandad that you haven't spoke to for a while although you know something like this is perfect to break the ice.

Q1 What Group sang the following lyric and what film is the lyric from??

'What we're dealing with here is a total lack of respect for the law'

Q2 What is 'stereolithography'?

ok, no googling allowed - I'm guessing at number two.... stereo usualy menas "2 of" and -litho menas writing, so i would say writing with both hands at the same time...

Not quite but you really are on the right lines if you think laterally. Its producing something and its not writing. Even the 2 sort of make sense!
#3
Stereolithography = Writing with two lines adjacent to each other for each letter?
#4
Ok Ok. I'm too curious. I googled it. I couldn't help myself...
#5
what is it? lol
#6
no doesn't matter don't say :)
#7
Trying to think where I've heard those lyrics

Again great try Rayman and its along the same lines, only its probably not the same kind of writing your thinking of and 'next to each other' should really be on top of each other'....

Writing in two colours, one on top of the other, something like highlighted writing ot type?

Me too. We're so weak  :P

Hehe I'm trying very very hard not to use a search engine

the lyrics are from a song called Their Law by Prodigy, but no idea what film it is, Human Traffic?
#13
right, i know that lithography is to do with printing something, like a picture onto paper, think we did that in Art using templates for each colour and a rubber spreader thing....

stereolithography? hmm, thinking along the lines of a stereogram, where you focus two eyes onto the same point in a jumbled image makes a 3d picture, so I'd guess its something to do with 3d printing? No idea how that works tho!

Well done NRPS1! You're half way there on the first one, just need the film now...

You're also on the money on the second one, great process of elimination work, its 3D printing!!

Well done nrps1 :) Thanks uiaman, it was fun trying to work out the answer without a search engine.

The Prodigy... Hmm... Only film I can think of is Trainspotting, but I don't think it's that one. Is it an old or new film?

:pirate:

Its an old film Rayman, but not Black and White and I pretty much guarantee everyone has heard of it and most of us have seen it.

There was a similar film re-made a while back that could easily have had this line in it.

Think about who might be saying the line and why, oh its a comedy too.
#17
Stereolithography I think is using sound to 'ectch' or make a mask for something.

Answer the other question was 'Smokey and the Bandit'!

Rash, that could be right too, thought it was 3D printing but thats probably in laymans speak.
