if they are fat and overweight you need to soak and clean their back end. so it will be ok to bath them
#8
maybe you shouldnt ask such stupid questions! just take a bath on your own im sure the rabbit doesnt want to share with you !

geez some folk have no common sense
#9
I certainly wouldnt do it in this weather, it would take ages for the fur to dry and may give the rabbit a cold!!
#10
Take care not to get soap near the eyes!!

if that's the case, you need to stop feeding them as much, let them lick their own ****,lol

I thought this thread was about soft lighting, sharing a bath, candles and toys when I read the title:?

He doesn't look that dirty either, I'd leave him out of your' bathing regime

Spoke to my avatar. Says that you can give rabbits a bath and there is specialist shampoo available for them, but unless there's any pressing reason to clean its fur (like a skin complaint that causes the fur to get all matted and ick), you should avoid it. Rabbits absolutely hate water. It scares the life out of them. They think they're going to drown, and they get into an awful panic, and excrete epic amounts of sht. It's part of the fight or flight response. Worse still, after being soaked, they take an age to dry, and will spend around an hour or so running around looking petrified, pooing everywhere, and shaking.

It's really not nice, I've been told.

yes put him in a big pot of warm water add carrots and onions

Hi Borolad your bunny looks quite clean already. See once you go down that road of bathing animals they think they can jump in the bath any old time. It will mess with your schedule when you are due to go out and he decides he's gonna hop in the bath with you. Think of how long it takes to blow dry the fur and style his ears and everything. Its a big task. He will be demanding carrot flavoured toothpaste next.

You didn't tell us his name?
